No. Levi's Stadium is in Santa Clara, about 45 miles south of San Francisco in Silicon Valley. It's home to the San Francisco 49ers but located in the South Bay. Plan at least 1 hour of travel time from SF.

Take Caltrain from SF's 4th & King station to Santa Clara station (about 70 minutes), then catch a match-day shuttle. You can also drive (45–90 min via US-101) or take BART to Milpitas and transfer to VTA Light Rail.

San Jose Airport (SJC) is just 8 km from Levi's Stadium — about 15 minutes by car. SFO is 48 km away (45 min) and Oakland (OAK) is 56 km (55 min). Fly into SJC for the easiest match-day access.

Levi's Stadium hosts 7 matches: 4 group stage games, a Round of 32 match, a Round of 16 match, and a quarterfinal. It's one of the knockout-stage venues for the tournament.

Santa Clara is much warmer than San Francisco. Expect 80–90°F (27–32°C) during afternoon matches. The stadium is open-air with limited shade. Bring sunscreen, a hat, and stay hydrated.

For the full tourist experience (Golden Gate, Alcatraz, cable cars), stay in SF and budget Caltrain travel time. For match-day convenience, stay in Santa Clara, San Jose, or Cupertino near the stadium.

Yes. The main FIFA Fan Festival will be on SF's Embarcadero waterfront (12,000 capacity). A secondary fan zone at the Great America parking area near Levi's Stadium holds 15,000. San Pedro Square in downtown San Jose also hosts watch parties.
